Some call me Dr. DevOps. I am a software engineer, DevOps researcher, web designer, teacher, combat veteran, and avid sim racer. I am one of the few researchers worldwide who has dedicated their research to DevOps strategy, empowering stakeholders and upper-echelon management to make data-driven decisions beyond software automation. I started my Ph.D. when I was 28 years old. It took four years, but I completed my research on the impact of proprietary DevOps platforms. These days I spend my time being a DevOps researcher, education advocate, and full-time software engineer. I have worked for large corporations like Microsoft and Salesforce. I love all things tech. On the side, I volunteer for Children's Hospitals and help provide tech education to veterans and underrepresented groups.
